Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-08-09. This is a first-draft policy covering DriveFF's current feature set — not yet reviewed by counsel. It will be revised before any paid tier ships.

What we collect

Waitlist data. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit as a standalone waitlist record. It is not a DriveFF account and is not linked to Clerk or a fantasy league. We use it only to manage the waitlist and send you DriveFF availability and launch updates.

Fantasy league data.Once general access opens, when you look up a league by ID, we fetch that league's public data directly from Sleeper's API (rosters, matchups, transactions, draft picks) to render analytics. We don't store a copy of that data beyond short-lived caching (minutes to about a year, depending on the page — see the codebase's cache TTLs) needed to keep pages fast.

Account data.If you sign up, we store your email address and an internal account ID linked to your Clerk account, plus which Sleeper league(s) you've connected. We don't store a password — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Who else sees it

Clerk (authentication) processes account email addresses and manages sessions. Neon(database, via Vercel's Marketplace) hosts the account/league-connection records and standalone waitlist email records described above. Vercel hosts the application itself. PostHog US (product analytics) processes the product events described below in the United States. Sleeper is the source of your league's fantasy data — we don't send Sleeper anything about you.

We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Product analytics

We send only explicitly named events to PostHog: viewing the waitlist, opening the public demo, successfully joining the waitlist, creating an account, viewing a named league or premium surface, connecting a league, submitting a referral (including a fixed failure reason), viewing a deterministic preview, starting or returning from checkout, completing a purchase, and viewing an unlocked premium feature. Automatic page views, clicks, forms, heatmaps, and session recordings are disabled.

Events use a memory-only anonymous identifier, or your Clerk account ID after sign-in. They may include a closed source or CTA label, named product surface, fantasy platform, public league key, access state, plan or tier, coarse banked-week bucket, and production/preview/development environment where relevant. We don't send your email address, internal database ID, raw URL or query string, or any manager name, roster, player, or matchup data to PostHog. Adding a new event or property requires a deliberate code change to the allowlist.

Cookies

Clerk sets a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't run third-party ad or tracking cookies. Our product analytics set no cookie and store nothing in your browser — the analytics identity lives in memory and is gone when you close or reload the page.

We also don't run session recording, heatmaps, automatic click or form capture, or automatic page-view tracking. Only the named events described above are collected.

Retention

We keep a waitlist email while the waitlist is active and through the launch-update period, then delete it within 90 days unless you create an account or we must retain it to meet a legal obligation. Account records are kept while your account is active. Short-lived league-data caches expire according to the cache period for each page. You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry or account data at any time.

Your choices

You can delete your waitlist entry or your account (and the connected-league records tied to it) at any time by emailing privacy@driveff.com. We'll remove the corresponding rows from our database. Deleting your account doesn't affect your Sleeper league itself — that data lives with Sleeper, not us.

Changes

We'll update the date above whenever this policy changes materially.
